What do you think will happen with these utilities now that Microsoft has bought Winternals? I've used their tools for many years and they've been one of the first sites I would go to to find the tool I needed to do the job. Will they be bundled right into the OS? Dropped? Mangled? Priced out of the market? Do you have any predictions?
This is my feelings of course but I wouldn't be surprised if they kill em. Symantec seems to do the same thing each time they get their hands on something really useful or useful and free.
The powers that be as MS forgot ONE CRITICAL thing. Active Directory is a database - make it so it can be edited in common tools so that when massive changes need to be done they can be done without exporting/importing. The morons have SQL/Access yet the same morons can't talk within departments to make managing this crappy database easier. These tools are as much of a joke as AD is regarding database work.
