Excellent beginner info. A presentation like that could / should be built into orientation days / initial training for recruits in many companies.

I work for an IT support company - several of my clients could benefit from this. Their recruits can have a look at this just before they sign their acceptable use policy.

This was a compilation of things I've come across in e-mail. What other types have things have you come across that you can / should add to a presentation such as this?

The zip file was corrupt, can I gat a copy from someone?

I would add a slide or two about the pitfalls of sharing your e-mail address for non-business purposes. Getting users to understand that when they sign up for something on the web using their company's e-mail address for non-business purposes only serves to feed the SPAM monster. I have three users here who are responsible for 90% of the SPAM we get because of their carelessness.

I'll be adding this to our curriculum.

Well for me anyway, the logo is not coming through, just the nice red 'X' that indicates a missing graphic, so it seems the is something amiss.

Also, are there any issues to adding to the content? For instance, for spam avoidence a trick I use for those sites that "require" an email address is to setup a 'free' email account with Yahoo, Hotmail, etc and use that. This way I can receive the info I need, but never have to check it again if I don't want to.

Very basic stuff here...had to augment with more info before using.

It's well presented, gives just the right amount of information, easy to look at and read.
Can we post on our intranet with the logo and copyright? Can we modify it at all. Internal only, not going outside our agency.
