Do you really think this article can fool a seasoned Adware warrior like myself??? What a joke. It is almost incomprehensible to me, that to date, I have not found a real product comparison guide, conducted in a lab, by real security specialists, that compares the effectiveness of each of all adware products. Instead we get some bias/bogus review sites like "anti-spyware-review.toptenreviews.com" that your article points us to.
I LMAO when the $5 worth of "Herman Bucks" popped up enticing me to purchase the "pick of the litter" anti spyware suite.
Spyware is no joke. I?ve seen more $ damage from spyware attacks in the past year then all the previous Virus attacks combined since 1997. Adware today is so rampant that you need to run at least four or five different removal products to effectively clean an infected machine. This of course depends if you?ve also been infected by a rootkit attack or not. And what about Rootkits??? Do any of these adware software suites detect them?? Do their manufacturers even know what they are? I doubt it!!! All anti virus/adware manufacturers are asleep at the wheel when it comes to rootkit attacks and until they address it in their software, you better keep your restore discs handy. As for you Becky, why don?t you stick to databases, buy some teeth, and go back to that third world bag piping rocket ship company that you came from. Leave security article to the pros.
