There was one product missing from list, though it is not a scanner in the traditional way that we think of such things. Javacool have another product that takes the pain out of checking the End User License Agreement (EULA) for spy/adware programs that come bundled with a large majority of free and shareware products. There are very few people who will take the time to read these agreements, and even if you do, the fact that spy/adware maybe present can be tucked away in the technical jargon so that you will miss it anyway. Javecool have released EULAlyzeer, a program that takes the pain out of reading the EULA and will do it for you, reporting back any mention of such nasties and thus giving you the option to abort any software install before you start. It is also free, and available from download.com or the javacool website. I hope this is of interest to some of you out there at least.
