I keep getting "Installation ended prematurely because of an error".

Not sure what's going on. Don't have the betas of Visual Studio or .Net either.

Any ideas?

The doc refers to a utility 'LANSurveyor' that was apart of the Visio 2003 Resource Kit for IT Professionals (paid version), but that is no longer being sold by MSFT. LANSurveyor is still available from SolarWinds (www.neon.com), but the trial version will not export to Visio.
