Pressing ENTER in a Table Form
The creator of the form needs to insert form fields using the Form toolbar.
If you don't want the row to expand, you can use the Table menu after selecting the row. Then go to Table Properties, Row tab. Check specify height, and Row Height is: Exactly.
After the form is set, go to Tools, Protect document. In Word 2003, Check Editing Restrictions in the Task Pane, from the drop down list, select Filling In Forms.
Click Yes, Start Enforcementing Protection.
Type a password and re-enter it in the 2nd box. But don't forget the password.
When the user brings up the file, they can tab to each fill-in form. If they press ENTER it will make the row taller. But if the row is prevented from getting taller, ENTER will not work.
