I'm so glad they have included the network feature, so that deleted files and folders on a network share go to the recycyle bin.
That will save some companies I work for alot of hassle, thumbs up to Microsoft for this one.

My company had to pay $2500 in recovery fees from OnTrack after an associate deleted half of all the original corporate artwork. He deleted FDA approved packaging designs, advertisements, before/after photos and much much more. All because he couldn't open the files on his own computer (of course none of the graphics software was installed on the Director of Sales workstation).
Anywho, his oopsie reflected mine. Our backup system was down for a few days and i was trying to repair it on my own with out proper training. It was overall bad timming. There was no valid backup to restore from after the incident, so we had to pay a third party company to recover the data.
All this could have been avoided with this new feature Microsoft is adding. Of course it could have been avoided if i had done a better job at data security as well.
A lesson well learned.

The network tab is not shown up in Recycle Bin. Seem vinish as aemarques point out.
i have recently started using vista and my recycle bin has vanished from the desktop. It was a late night i may have accidentally deleted it while trying to empty it. How can i retrieve the icon?
How do I empty an external hard drive?
