Just another form of DISCRIMINATION!!!...the type that can get through loopholes in the laws.:|
...>"past performance predicts future behavior"... MAY be so in a FEW cases but most people are job hunting in order to BETTER themselves and their position in their lives. They are looking for a step UP and/or a change for the better in their professional and personal lives. ALL of you "HR" people need to actually REMEMBER what it was like for YOU when you WERE looking for a job.;)
When it all comes down to brass tacks, business is in business to MAKE MONEY and WE 'peons' work for business to MAKE MONEY in order to survive in this world.
As a job seeker I don't give a ratz pah-toot about anything except what it takes for me to do that job to the best of my ability. I don't care about anything else!!! After all, I wouldn't be applying for that particular job if I didn't have reasonable confidence that I could actually DO that job and do it GOOD enough to be an asset to my employer. What?...you say, "Bad attitude."??? MAYBE (...uh, according to WHO???...), but THAT is REALITY for me and everyone I have ever known in my life.
So, HR, LIGHTEN up and interview about the POSITION to be filled and NOTHING ELSE!!!;)
