Hell, I was thrown into a PM position that I REALLY wasn't ready for. But, I found that managing a bunch of me's was pretty easy.

Why? I managed like *I* wanted to be managed and I worked my ass off in the trenches with my guys. Not only did I find out that being a PM was cool (it sucked too, but that's a different story), but I also found out that I could do the job.

You just gotta dive in and do it. If it isn't you, then who will it be?
