Since ASR is only in Pro and not Home, I wonder if a program like Norton Ghost might be a better choice? I can do a complete backup with Ghost, break the file into 670 meg chunks to fit on a CD, and even automate the entire process. ASR sounds like too little and too late, but that is my opinion. I am sure others will disagree.
My computer does not have a 1.44" floppy disk or drive A - so what to do now to make an ASR Recovery Disk?
ASR does not backup data in and of itself. ASR backup includes the process of backing up data to a separate media (tape, etc.). ASR recovery requires that the separate media be available during recovery to perform the data restore.
