Appears to work. I normally use IBM PC-DOS7 on a bootable CD with the networking drivers. You will need three or four programs and a batch file is convenient to handle the sequence and required parameters. Remember DOS is ugly when networking.
1 - the card driver needs I/O (300h) IRQ (5)
2 - stack - ipxodi or tcpip or arclan
3 - 4 - client, whatever sees the network.
