following a corrupted rather large info store (12.8GB), an exchange repair's been done and the PSTs exported for all 20 users.. (i took over this network in a bad shape..!).
I've run the scanpst.exe file on each pst, however outlook 2k3 and outlook xp seem to be viewing a number of the emails as contacts.
anyone seen this problem before?

emails are contacts, according to dictionary definition.
where contact is meaning comminication.
if the originating email address is not in address book for them,
add it to see if that clears the issue.
( most likely cause of mistaken format, the hook for add to address book getting corrupted )
