Don't forget Firebird as this is also a serious mature contender and powerful feature set and runs on virtually anything.

Actually Oracle, MS SQL, MYSQL and others are all case sensitive!
It is merely fortunate that the tools like SQL*Plus default to upper case (for Oracle).
