It says MySQL only has third party GUI tools available, that's untrue I use MySQL Administrator and MySQL Browser together they handle managing users plus creating and editing databases, they are both made by MySQL and are free to download.

I think MySQL deserves a re-score on that section, MySQL is a great database.

While MySQL administrator & browser are available, they are not a full gui like the Oracle & SQL tools. Both of the MySQL tools have been greatly improved, they still do not give the full range of features a full gui control set can give. That being said, I also think MySQL is a GREAT database system. I think it comes off really strongly in the chart. Though I do believe one of it's biggest weaknesses is the fact that it's gui tools are lacking. Many people who are going after a free database are not looking for something to get their feet wet with database technology. Many of them would prefer to not have a lot of scripting work, but a nice gui & wizards to guide them through everything. It is in this area that MySQL falters. That being said, MySQL really is great for experiance database admin's who arn't afraid of digging in & getting dirty in the system, and who don't need/want a gui for everything.

Hi Jaqui,
I PDF'ed the chart and republished the download, so maybe you'll be able to view it now. If not, let me know and I'll find some other means of getting the info to you!
Thanks

You forgot another Full Featured DB here. PostgreSQL should also be compared.

I'd rather like to see PostgreSQL given some more attention.
IBM's the last of the Big Three in database to release a free edition...

However, I cant find anything at a glance on their product talk if there is replication present with their edition.
