I have this old ofice laptop and want to set it up for my kid. How can I get the login for the old network off this computer. I do not remember the login and pass word to get into the machine. Computer is an old think pad?

Reformat Harddrive
if i was you i would reformat the harddrive so its a clean install of Windows 2000, with a clean install this may save you problems futher down the line

Try logging in as adminstator in safe mode.
Many people forget to protect this login. It probably has no password.
