Bios virus

I think my computer has a virus. It begins checking extended memory and then just shuts down. It seems to be at random points in extended memory (never the same) when it happens. Can anyone tell me how to resolve the problem?

It seams to be a hardware problem. My advice is check your RAM.

try this
Remove your cmos battery for five minutes or better still replace it,then power up,go into the bios and enable quick boot.
