Your browser
...is the tool for this. You need to know the internal (private) IP address of the router and type it in the address field in the browser from inside the LAN. You need to be in the same subnet as the router, for example 192.168.1.0/24. If you connect your PC to the router using a network cable and have set your Local Area Connection to use DHCP and the router happens to have its DHCP server operational, you will get the router's IP address as part of the TCP/IP settings. Just go to the command prompt and type in ipconfig /all and check what the default gateway is.

The username and password of the administrative interface are documented in the manual which came with the router. If you do not have the manual, go to the manufacturer's website and download one.

If someone has changed the default password and not documented it, you may have to reset the router to its factory settings. The instructions are in the manual.

That happens all the time. It is good that the question gets many answers, it would be very boring to know everything and spend time to write a long-winded answer happy

Router logon
There are two ways; first the LAN?s IP address of the router, or if you want to access the router from the outside of LAN, the public IP address of the router, and the enabled port. For example if the router?s IP of the LAN?s side is 192.168.1.1, simply type on your Internet browser http://192.168.1.1 . If you are outside of the LAN you must type in your Internet browser http://x.x.x.x:y where x.x.x.x is the router public IP address, and y is the configured WEB access port of the router.
(Of course this is the logon way in the most common routers model. Depending on your router type this can be different.)
