Fantasy Sports - Allowed at Work?

Curious to see if this is an issue on work time and whether or not it is prohibited.

short answer: yes
Fantasy sports sites are blocked by my organizations internet usage policy. Also blocked that is unusual is shopping. That was added to limit liability for identity theft issues.

Sponsored, not blocked
The enlightended team where I work provide a fantasy football (soccer) league for employees - complete with monthly prizes (of company branded items).
It's great fun, helps build teamwork (work team mini-leagues etc) and does not take much employee time really.

...It's blocked where I work, but where there's a will, there's a way.
