Windows Vista / MS Outlook

Anybody knows a good users manual for Vista?

...no matter which way I set up Microsoft Outlook with Windows Vista, I am not able to email web pages or links through MS Outlook.

It acts like it has been sent but receiver never receives it.

How do I set up Windows Vista so that I can email anything I want without limitations?

What is Microsoft Email versus Microsoft Outlook?

Looks like Microsoft did everything to confuse users more this time with Vista.
(I want my XP back).

Sorry
Most of us have steered pretty clear of Vista and many of us will go to an alternative. Your question deserves an answer but can only suggest that you go to Microsoft for that.

I can answer XP and Unix. Not much help.

Good luck

With anything relating to Vista you have 2 options
The first is ring M$ give them your credit card number and then ask your question knowing that you are charged at 15 second interval's even when on hold so you are now a Paying Beta Tester for M$.

Or you can ask at the Vista Community Forum hosted by M$ and at the very least overseen by M$ so they can see what problems are cropping up with their Latest & Greatest pile of rubbish. If you don't want to pay M$ a large amount of money to be told that this is something like a new security feature the Vista Community Forum is here

Or failing that if full URL's are being deleted you can always try the Tiny URL here

I don't know if it will work but it's worth a try.

Just remember that Microsoft is actually an acronym that really stands for Most Intelligent Customers Realise That Our Software Only Fools Teenagers. That was on my desktop calender last year and seems quite accurate when anything Vista is concerned. shocked

I know quite a few teenagers who would dispute your statement.

Maybe the operative word could be 'tools'.

What version of Outlook...
are you using? Does Outlook need to run through an Exchange server or just POP3?

We are prepping to teach both Vista and Office 2007 on my campus in Fall 2007. As such, teachers who handle these subjects are being set up with Vista - Office 2007 PC's. Outlook 2007 is not supported by our Exchange server/s (not certain which version of Exchange but NOT 2007). We are not having any problems with Outlook 07 on )Vista machines) and POP3 accounts that are not accessed through our intranet, but cannot access campus addresses through our Exchange server/s.
