Server Imaging Software
I would like to image my servers. We currently use Acronis True Image software which we use on our PCs on the manufacturing floor. The cost of Acronis for each server is high, so I thought I would get some feedback before spending $1,000 for each server license and I am responsible for 8 primary servers at the moment.

Disk Imaging Software
Hi,
We;ve Installed Acronis TrueImage Software, and it has performed wonders for us. in one instance where a production system faced hardware failure, once the hardware failure was rectified, basically teh HDD itself failed, it took is 17 mins to restore the server from an Acronis Image backup. Additionally all our servers have now been restored and are restored on a routing basis to VMWare Workstation environments for testing purposes where rollout of new software on our servers can be tested. We've worked with Acronis TrueImage quite extensively and have found it to be a major requirement in an IT 24x7 environment.
