my question is,
is it cisco providing cisco ruters and switches free of cost for the educational or training inistitutions
this information is correct or wrong?
regarding to this information told me by the dhonush computers bangalore
i want to know this information is correct or wrong?

No, I think you still have to pay for them.

My school is a Cisco certified training location; we still had to pay (at a reduced cost of course).

We just had a new lab installed in our school about a year and a half ago, And schools are charged a reduced (although be it heavily reduced) price for the hardware.

Where they are making their money is by your graduating, going out to the workforce, and convincing the company you now work for to buy Cisco equipment! As well as training of Cisco cert. teachers!
