Finding locked files in SAN unit

Hello to all,
I want to know if there is a way to find locked files on a SAN unit or any remote file server, either way I cannot RDP or remotely control the remote location. I was reading about HO.exe but I don't think this tool work through the network, they were also mentioning Process explorer and monitor but those only concentrate in processes and they don't work on remote files. I am requesting help from anyone who had experience with this type of situation.
