The Outlook "IN FOLDER" column

A user has multi subfolders in his mailbox.
A particular subfolder is named folderA.

So, if he goes into that folder, under the "IN FOLDER" column, it should say folderA correct?

For some reason, when he is in folderA, a small amount of emails show a different folder that it resides in...such as the Inbox, Deleted Items, etc. (as listed under the "IN FOLDER" column.

Has anyone seen this?

Thanks

"In Folder" reflects Different Folder Location
We have a user who, when he moves an item from his Sent Items to another folder, the "In Folder" column shows the item to be still located in the "Sent Items" folder instead of its new location.

MS makes a PST folder repair (SCANPST) that may clear this corruption up for you. You can download from their website.
