Installing MS Office Professional Edition 2003 on a HP Vista laptop; can it

hello all - am looking at buying a new laptop and have been told by a few people that you can not install Office 2003 on a vista machine yet a couple of people have said yes....any comments? can it be done? As well, does anyone know if Adobe CS Premium can be installed on Vista too? Any info would be greatly appreciated....thanks! Chris - chris.veillon@yahoo.ca

I did and you can......
Yes Vista will run Office 2003 without a problem. I am not sure if you will be running Business Contact Manager or not but if so then there is a service pack required and a bit of extra effort. I have been running it since March without issue.

Yes, it can.
My comment regarding people saying you cannot install Office 2003 on a Vista machine is that they must be the same idiots who ignorantly claim Vista has lots of software and hardware compatibility issues. Yes, you can install Office 2003 on a Vista machine. And yes, Adobe CS Premium can be installed on Vista too.

Office 2003
I've recently purchased an HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop with Vista Home Premium. I had no trouble installing or using Office Professional 2003.

Does the same hold true if I want to install Office XP Pro on my new HP Pavallion dv9000? Haven't tried it yet because I wanted to research the issue first. Don't want to cause or deal with any problems. Many thanks for any input.
