OUTLOOK 2003 WON'T START - GET ERROR MESSAGE

When I attempt to start Outlook 2003, I receive the following error message:
"Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienence"
When I "click here" for more details, it reads:
Error signature-
AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.8118.0 ModName: ntdll.dll ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 000114b6
Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Solution
Try again once or twice, then reboot the computer and try again.
If these don't work I would use something else for my mail.

It was suggested that if you have the newest version of the
anti-spam program Cloudmark on your Outlook, that you
remove it and revert back to the previous version. This
solved my problem and my Outlook is back to normal. Good
luck!

Solution
I had the same exact error and tried every fix I could find. What ultimately resolved the issue was repairing my .pst files (I have two). Go to Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033\scanpst.exe. Open the exe file and point it to your .pst file. Scan and if it identifies any errors, hit "fix". If you have more than one .pst file, scan the others as well. If the .pst file fix doesn't work to resolve the issue, try renaming your MSMAPI32.dll file located in the same 1033 folder (Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033) to MSMAPI32old.dll. If you try this, the first time you attempt to open Outlook you'll be told you need to reinstall the software, but the next time you try it should work (the MSMAPI32.dll file recreates itself). Hope this helps someone. . .I worked on this problem for 8 hours! Thanks microsoft. . .
