Help Needed Please!!

Hi, I'm resetting my computer back to factory settings. My computer is an Advent 7011. I have 3 cd's for doing this. When I put the second cd in, it downloads to about 75% and then I get an error. "Cannot open xyzcomp.err", press ok and i get "Cannot read from file 437 Application error". Is there anyone that can help me reset my computer back to factory settings. Thanks Ben..

Possible it may not be an issue with the actual File Structure it is trying to read. it may just be a bad disc?? You could trying copying the contents of the disc to another and trying that. Although it may not copy properly if it has difficulties reading the file from disc.

Otherwise, you may also have a D:\ drive (sometimes manufaturers do this) with the recovery files on it. If so doble click or run file inti and make new recovery disks..

otherwise, you may want to do what retro recommends
