My kids turned off the computer in the middle of Update. Now it only gets the following:
Configuring Updates 3 of 3 0% complete, DO NOT TURN OFF COMPUTER. The only thing it does is sit there, then keep rebooting. How can this be fixed. Does the same thing in Safe Mode.

Have you tried booting to Last Known Good Configuration?
If that doesn't work try booting from the Vista CD, choose Repair, and then restore from the last System Restore Point, which was created before the updates were installed.
