Is ?httpd.conf? a name of a file?? Is yes, where can one find it??
Actually, I wanted to connect to site (external domain) with javascript. On seaching for that I came to know about the word mod_rewrite.

It is located in your apache directory in the conf folder.

on Linux it is usually /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
or you can type
updatedb
locate httpd.conf
