Network / Asset Management Software

Hi All,

I am looking for suggestions on software to help manage my company network. We have 12 servers with various functions and about 100 windows client computers. There are also about 10 various printers both newtwork and direct to client pc. Ideally I would like a software that can help inventory all the hardware, software installed, printers and give status reports on all the computers. Another software or the same that could help monitor the servers for health of the processes, diskspace, etc would also be a great asset. I would spend money for the right program and most of all want to make an educated purchase so any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Lorne

Do you know JDisc Discovery?
Hi Lorne,

do you know JDisc Discovery?

As the vendor of JDisc Discovery, I am a bit biased happy. Make the decision by just downloading and testing the software! We offer free installation and evaluation support.

JDisc Discovery discovers your network and identifies hardware and software for the most important operating systems (Windows, Linux, MAC OS X, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX). Furthermore it identifies hundreds of SNMP based devices such as routers, switches and networked printers.

Besides the broad device support, it has some unique features such as custom reporting, custom attributes and custom attribute/software collection.

For more information refer to http://www.jdisc.com

Best regards,
Thomas

Suggestion
There are many tools available in the IT world.

We as an organization have tried many asset management software.

My current suggestion will be Lepide (http://www.lepide.com/asset-management.html)

This one works well.
