Switching form 'details' view to 'thumbnails' in XP

Does anyone know if there is a shortcut to switch views in explorer. I find that I switch between 'details' and ' thumbnails' view quite often and it would be great if there was a secret shortcut for that. I have just installed AutoHotKey and wonder if it can be done with that.

TIA Alan

Why not try an alternative method altogether ...
Download and run Explorer2 from this site:

http://www.zabkat.com/

It's basically a Windows Explorer replacement, which as the name suggests, has TWO panes open at all times (three actually if you include the directory tree!).

Personally I run each Pane as a directory location for transferring files from one location to the other - it helps if you can 'see' both simultaneously.

However, due to its configuration abilities, you could designate the other Pane as a thumbnail preview. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. wink
