Is there a way to get the serial number from a cisco 1700 router remotely?
I have a remote location with a cisco 1700 router that I would like to get the serial number off of without have to go to the remote location and tearing it off the wall.

Doesn't look good
The serial number appears to not be coded within the unit itself. Webcam, coworkers cellphone picture may be the only alternatives.
The serial number is usually located on the back of the unit.
