Dear All,
Anyone can help? suddenly in one day all file (only office file such as word .doc and excel .xls 2003) in my file server (Windows Server 2003 No Service Pack) is become corrupt (most messages is unrecognizable file format) other file like txt, jpg, mp3, etc is just fine
Anyone ever has experience the same problem?
Is it a virus? (since there's no threat detected on the files)
Please help, thousand of file in all folder (in one partition) all corrupt..

Do you have access to Previous Versions? Are the previous versions corrupt?
What happens if you copy the file off the server and open it on a non-company laptop?
Are you able to open the documents on the server itself?
It seems to me that either the files are truly corrupt, or the network is somehow corrupting those files. I'd also be checking any switches and routers to see if there are any CRC errors being produced.

A starting point
I remember reading something in the last few months about malware that encrypts Office files but then you receive e-mails offering to sell you the encryption key.
