I have 30 users located at the end of the Earth over a thin satellite connection. These users connect Outlook 2003 via HTTPS to our Exchange 2003 server located in Australia. To help improve response times of Outlook, we use Cached Exchange Mode.
The problem I have is that for a small number of these users, Cached Exchange Mode does not work. Cached exchange mode is enabled and an ost file exists, but the size of the file is 0kb and it is never updated.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should check or what the problem may be?
Is there any way to force Outlook to re-sync the ost file?
