VB.NET, Crystal Reports, and Invalid Key message

I have load Visual Studio 2008 and Crystal Reports that came with VS. When I go to run the VB/Crystal Reports sample projects that came with VS 2008 Professional, I get a message that says "Invalid Key". What does this mean and how can I fix it?
