How to enable a Macro Addon in MS word?

I recieved an attachment in MS word format. This document is like a questionaire and contains a macro entitled ADDEM UP (button on the top of the document). for the life of me, I cannot enable this macro to work for me but I need it. I looked all through my system to find a solution (box unchecked etc.). Or would it be MS word specific to enable this macro, but on the toolbar I cannot enable it. Can you help me out with this.
