I am looking for a free version of Microsoft AD, where i can store all usernames and passwords, then use it from other computers.
We have 7 server running Windows XP that needs to use the users created by the.
Should anyone know about one that is easy to use and set up.

Thanks for the link, but i got that far already, i am looking for one that is quick to set up and can work on windows as I dont know linux

If you are just looking for some sort of authentication method rather than a full AD replacement or LDAP server, you may have other options.
None are going to be quick and easy to set up. AD isn't quick and easy, either. And if you are not running a domain, these won't help either.
But basically, there is no real AD replacement that will run on a desktop OS to control a non-domain environment.
