Folder Restriction on Network Drive

Hello All,

I have a network and I have asked to restrict certain users from certain folders. I can manage to do that but what I wanted to do:

if Mr A logs in and s/he only have rights to access Folder 1 ,2 and 3 and other folders are invisible to Mr A but visible to other user who were given permission to access them.

thanks

You'll need to provide much more information here
What type of Network is this?

Do you have a Domain Controller or is this simply just a Peer to Peer Network?

How is Folder Sharing Enabled?

Do you have different Groups with different Privileges on the Network and on the Domain Controller?

What OS's are involved here on the Work Stations and Server if applicable?
