I have an Acer Aspire 3680-2022 which runs the upgraded OS of Windows7 Ultimate.
I also have an Acer Aspire 5515. The OS is Windows Vista Home Basic, which happens to be the original OS of the 1st Acer. Both are 32bit.
Could I possibly upgrade from the Vista by using the repair disc from the 1st Acer on the 2nd to mirror the Windows7 OS?

Not only is it illegal, but it won't let you do that.

This is a license issue
Windows which comes bundled with a computer will only work on that computer. This is by de$ign. Now if you purchase a retail version of Windows, you may use it on multiple computers, but only one at a time.
As an example, I own 3 retail versions of Windows XP, which over the years have resided on at least a dozen different motherboards.
One workaround might be to look into a brand of Linux (free) on one of your machines. You can try one out without altering your existing OS by downloading Ubuntu or Mint linux, for example, burning a CD and booting the CD. Linux will be loaded into memory only (not on your HDD) and you can try it out. It is not written to your HDD unless you specifically choose to install it, at which time it will ask you if you want to install it side-by-side with the existing Windows, or to replace the existing Windows, effectively destroying the Windows.

Thanks to both of you for your answers.
I happened upon this idea when I ran a backup on my one laptop that has the Windows7. Another backup feature is the mirror image and I thought..Why not? My morals aren't really concerned with 'bootlegging' Windows7 from my one laptop to use on my other. I was just concerned if it could be done successfully or if in the process would I mess up that laptop..
Before I came up with this idea I originally planned on buying the software anyhow so I'll just stick to that..
