I guess they're in the bit bucket for the moment.
I think that the TR techs are looking into these disappearances.
They may still recover them, but it can't help to tell them that you're having this problem...

That's not a feature, it's a bug
All of your favorites/bookmarks/saves should have been retained.

Of course, being in IT, you know that I have to ask... are you sure that all of your favorites were saved under the user account that you're logging in with and not under a different user account?

If you can confirm that, then we'll file it as a bug.

No. They are not there.
AND I have only one user Account. I am not that foolish to lay claims.

Missing post
The missing post was deleted because it was nothing more than a link to this Q&A. It was redundant and polluting the Discussion feed.

As for your missing Favorites, we have received your multiple messages on the forums and to our customer service department. Our team is working on it and hopes to restore your missing data. Stay tuned.

One more note: This is a forum for professionals and so we ask our members to conduct themselves like professionals. Typing DISGUSTING over and over in multiple threads with 12 sad faces doesn't really make the cut. happy

The new URL
You can easily get to your Favorites list by going to My Stuff (The link to this is in the site's header in the dropdown under My Account). On this page, you can access your recent Discussions and Questions and your Favorites.

The direct URL for Favorites is: http://www.techrepublic.com/members/favorites/2421815

Negative
It says "No favorites found!" here also. But I have saved many as I mentioned in the other posts.

But...
Jason, All this should have been taken care off while in testing stage of the upgrade. This should not have happened in the first place. Don't you have the system of UAT and other things while developing!!!???
AND I am not the only one polluting, if I am if you say so.

Yes, we had almost a month of UAT before the site went live. This problem didn't surface. It's still only happening for a small percentage of members, but we naturally want to fix it for those members and we want to make sure that it doesn't become a bigger issue or lead to other problems.

9 months on and my saved articles are also MIA and I can't save new ones
It's been 9 months since Mehul Bhai posted about his saved articles disappearing. I just found that mine are gone, too, and I can't even save any new ones. All I get when I go to My Stuff is the following text on two bright red bands:
Could not retrieve threads for userId - null
Error: null
Does anyone have some information on this problem? Are my old links gone for good? Why can't I save any new ones?

What I reported then was something different. That problem was rectified immediately thereafter.
What you are reporting is a totally new & different problem and TechRepublic is looking at it and will resolve.
