Got denied access configuring DHCP?
I tried to configure DHCP on an AD server 2008 just for a test. Used an admin acct and got denied access error. The DHCP mmc is added to admin tools but the DHCP interface can do anything.... Not able to add server to authorize or manage. Nothing. Anyone get this issue......?

DHCP Server 2008
I know this may sound stupid, but sometimes they will actually answer a complex question.
On your Administrative account, is it a domain admin account? If it is a domain admin account, check the your persmissions on the account. I had the same issue with a collegue, who was trying to use a local admin account to access the MMC console.
Might be worth a check. Also, if the access is denied, look in your event viewer it will give you more details as to why your request was denied.

Yes sounds stupid but not, I had a different issue trying to install Enterprise Root CA and didn't have the right permissions so i learned about that. The admin account was used to to dcpromo, I'll check the perms. Its seems like they would be Enterprise. Is it same for server 03 when installing? Thanks....
