SharePoint Central Admin site

My Central Admin Site is down however the WFE is still running fine. Couple months ago the entire site crashes due to a power outage as a result of that the content database got corrupted. The long and short of it is i had to reinstall MOSS and restore did a point in time restore from IIS. I managed to get the WFE running but the central admin is like flogging a dead horse. Currently i am unable to backup the WFE. Is there a software i could use to restore central admin easily? Is there a backup stsadm command? I would like to know how or have a procedure document to do the restore of central admin.
