I have a Sony DSC W320 Digi-cam. I use a Sony 4GB SDHC card to store my pictures. It was working well and fine, but recently it has started troubling me. When I am inserting the card into my laptop, it is not displaying anything, the Removable disk was supposed to appear, but it is not! I thought the problem is with my laptop's card reader, but the same is happening with other laptops also.
Now I need a quick help on this, I have some really very important pictures, and i dont wanna loose them. The card is working fine with my camera, I can see the pictures also.
Please suggest me some good ideas.
Use the "Dedicated USB Cable"
Since you say that the camera can read the card, use the included "Dedicated USB Cable" and let the camera read the card and copy the pictures to your computer. Once you have successfully copied the pictures, I would re-format the memory card using the camera and try using it again on the computer before taking more pictures. You must also be careful to not remove the card if the camera is still recording an image to it. Only remove the card with the camera turned off. Also, note that some SD readers do not support SDHC or some higher class numbers. I have a class 10, 16GB SDHC card that I had to buy a much newer reader to read it directly, until then, I had to use the camera's slower interface to read my pictures.

First plug the camera in via USB and make a backup
I would guess maybe the contacts are wearing out
