So have you created a 7 Network
Or are you trying to add this to an existing network with lower Security?
Assuming that this is part of a 7 Workgroup/whatever did you share the folder in question?

Check the permissions
Check the permissions on the remote sever. You need to have at least read permissions to the share you are accessing. Otherwise, it refuses the connection.

setting global permissions and share resources
Hi,try to get into the control panel then click on Network and Internet thereafter click on choose homegroup and sharing options in the new window please turn everything on except the password protected sharing option turn it off and save all the new settings.
Do this and it should be working.
I guess you know how to share a folder and give full permission to everyone so that they can access files and copy them,otherwise,right-click on the file(s) or folder(s) you are willing to share and then click on properties in the bottom of the context menu getting displayed and select sharing tab then below "choose people to share with...type a name and then click add,or click the arrow to find someone" either enter Everyone or select Everyone click on add and click on the button share, you are done.
I am waiting for your feedback.
