How do I export Thunderbird mail to .csv file
I would like to export my Thunderbird mail to csv format, as the company I work for decided to move to antoher e-mail platform, thus everbody has to move from their personal choice to the company's preferred e-mail reader (Outlook).

So open Outlook
And chose the Import Option from the drop down menu. 
As I don't have a copy of Thunderbird running at the moment you may also be able to export it in whatever format you chose from the Export Option.

You cannot
You cannot export mails to a .csv file, you can export only address book or contact list. You can export/import mails directly to/from between Thunderbird and Outlook.
