Why are there a bunch of top 100 users who look to be zombies?

Or worse sources of spam?

What did you break the List again
That was supposed to be fixed a couple of weeks ago but they kept the Spammers on it for some site developments that they where doing to attempt to stop or at least minimize the spam.

Though to be perfectly honest since the Spammer disappeared off the top 3 list I haven't really looked. wink

Dang you figured out my less than subtle deflection! Seriously tho I think it was just three or four days ago that I checked the top 100 and there were only two or three obvious candidates. Now it looks like over a dozen. Can't they keep production separate from development? It makes one wonder...

Well despite what the PTB say I can not see how Site Traffic has increased when I get listed with 2 of my User Accounts in their weekly High Posters with under 42 Posts each.

Or that fact that the same 2 user accounts are listed in the top 10, I feel only shows just how few posts are actually being made by individuals.

The site as said by Boxy in her post Face it here

Has lost it's community and as stated in the post directly below it the last Major Upgrade was over 12 months ago and things have not improved any if at all since them.

I know that there are changes happening quite often but I do question if they are Improvements or Conceived/Perceived Improvements. Personally things have got better since the last mess up that was called a Site Upgrade but they are a very long way from how things where with the previous incarnations of TR which though they had their problems worked for the users.

Perhaps I should start using one of the Backup User Accounts and see how long it takes to get listed in the Top 100 from the current Nowhere that they are holding. grin

I think this new version is better than the old one, it finally has comments that don't refresh your page each time.

It's what zombies do
Real people sometimes have to do real work, and can't post as often. Zombies don't have that limitation.

happy

My issue was it didn't look like the zombie masters were at work here, but the folks guarding the wall. Where I come from we don't do development inside a running production environment...

And I currently understand that Tammy Cavadias is heading to the #1 spot on the Top 100 because of the number of times that she posts all across the forums.

Seems that the Moderator is the #1 user. laugh

Day three of Zombie attack.
Others have started to notice the undead and how they are displacing the living. Aiming for the central processing unit is not stopping the fiends...

Must be looking at the time they spend on the site or the number of times that they visit as it's certainly not measuring any posts from them cus that haven't made any according tot he Profiles. grin

NA the Top 100 List is Royally Screwed and just not working in any form that can be considered right. Though at least now it doesn't have the Head Spammer at the #2 Position even though they only posted the one time and had not been back for weeks.

I suppose 50 Posts from one of my Backup Unused Accounts could get me to the #1 Spot very quickly. laugh

Personally I expect to see Tammy in that Position though. wink
