specific that you are looking for? Mehul's link is a good starting point, but if there is something specific you are looking for, more info would be helpful.

2 of my favorites for free downloads
Snapfiles and FileHippo, both of these keep a current list of links to lots of common and popular software; along with some that isn't always commonly used. Pretty much something for everyone though. Snapfiles also maintains a shareware/trialware list.

Mehul is correct in sending you to download.com as well, just be aware that you don't need to install the cnet downloader/update software; generally better off not to in my opinion.
