Stop logging a specific events in event viewer on 2003 server

Hi
Is there any way to stop logging a specific event ID in event viewer on 2003 server?
I understand Microsoft deliberately doesn???t offer this option but I have a good reason to stop ID 9555 from logging. MS says it's a known bug and safe to ignore this event but I get thousands of them and are flooding my Application logs.
So I was thinking or registry or 3rd party application.
