A little over a year ago I bought a new computer which came with Windows 7. I had no problem loading my Adobe Creative Suite 2 onto the system - it worked great until we got a virus. This virus wiped out all my pictures which were on an external harddrive and messed up a few programs including CS2. I understand that CS2 & Windows 7 are not compatible however they worked together pre-virus. Now I can't get the program loaded - I know there must be a way. Adobe customer service will not help with anything prior to CS4 and purchasing/upgrading is not an option (financial hardship) right now. Can anyone give me some tips on how to get this back on my system?
Thank you ~

by any chance is it Windows 7 64-bit?
this is a problem that has been plaguing a lot of people. have a look at http://dispo.se/2009/06/02/adobe-creative-suite-2-and-windows-7-64bit/ follow the steps that they list, and see how you go.
if it is 32-bit windows, I would still try as above, but mainly I would make sure that you are running the install as an administrator (right click, run as administrator).

Clarify: is there a specific error message?
When you say 'cannot get it loaded', do you mean the installer will not work?
Are you installing from CD or extracting it from a MSI package, or what?
