I've been working as a JR "IT anaylst" (basically desktop support) for about 6 months. I came into this job with no IT experience or training and have a B.S. in Neuroscience. With that being said, my manager has done a great job and teaching me so far, and I really like the work I am doing.
My question is, can anyone recommend some resources, books to read, classes to take, or certs to obtain? I'm in no rush to do everything at once, but I want to continue learning. I feel i know a good amount about computers (at least the easier/ routine stuff) but have no formal training of any kind.
Thanks!

Stuff to look at
IT support is better coming off of a comp sci degree imo because you have a better idea of whats going on. It can be done with any degree though just some things will be more of a mystery probably.
Take a look at the A+ certification, thats a good one for getting some windows troublshooting basics. Really for a tech support type of job as long as you know how to generally troubleshoot you can make it, and know how to reimage if something is messed up to the point where its not worth fixing and a fresh image would be better.
If you don't have images at your company (really small companies might not) then you could make an image and you'd look really good.
