Access 2010 Data Collection

I'm testing the bounds of Access today and trying out the data collection. I am curious as to why the second page with "Update existing information" does not show up. It seems to skip that page entirely, forcing me to add new information rather than update existing. Any Access gurus have an idea for me?
I'm using Office 2010 Pro, full install on WinXP.
